Getting Started

How do I create my first invoice?

After signing up, click "New Invoice" from your dashboard. Fill in your client's information, add line items with descriptions and amounts, select a template style, and click "Create Invoice". Your PDF will be generated instantly.

How do I set up my company profile?

Go to Settings > Company Profile to add your business name, address, logo, and default payment information. This information will automatically appear on all your invoices.

What file formats are supported for logos?

We support PNG, JPG, and JPEG formats for company logos. For best results, use a square image with a transparent background (PNG).

Working with Invoices

How do I download an invoice as PDF?

From the invoice detail page, click the "Download PDF" button. The PDF will be generated with your selected template style and downloaded to your device.

Can I edit an invoice after creating it?

Yes! Click on any invoice from your list, then click "Edit" to modify the details. Changes will be reflected in new PDF downloads.

What is batch upload?

Batch upload (available on Professional and Business plans) lets you create multiple invoices at once by uploading a CSV file. This is perfect for generating invoices for multiple clients quickly.

How do invoice statuses work?

Invoices can have four statuses: Draft (just created), Sent (delivered to client), Paid (payment received), or Overdue (past due date). Update status from the invoice detail page.

Billing & Subscriptions

What's included in the free plan?

The free plan includes 5 invoices per month, 1 template style, and basic features. Perfect for trying out InvoiceKits or occasional invoicing needs.

How do I upgrade my plan?

Go to Billing > Plans to see available options. Select the plan that fits your needs and follow the checkout process. Upgrades take effect immediately.

Can I cancel my subscription?

Yes, you can cancel anytime from your Billing page. Your plan will remain active until the end of your current billing period.
